Religion, Ritual, Society, and Change from the Levantine Chalcolithic to Intermediate Bronze Age

תקציר מחקר: 

My research concerns the the relationship between cult ritual and religion to the broader social world of the southern Levantine Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age. In particular, I focus on religion and ritual as major social forces which shaped worldviews, were responsible for the movement of people and things, and which affected broader culture change.

תקציר ביוגרפי: 

My doctoral research focuses on aspects of cult, ritual, and religion in the southern Levantine Late Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age. In particular, I am interested in developing our understanding of the intersection between religion, society, economy, and culture change in these periods. Beyond my primary research, I am also involved in several other research projects broadly related to the Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age. In addition, I maintain an active research interest in the history of southern Levantine archaeology.
